Directly from the Hotel Engel in Alberschwende you can go on several hikes during your holidays, e.g. on the Brüggelekopf, the local mountain of the village. With the hiking bus you can quickly reach countless hiking routes in the Bregenzerwald and in Dornbirn.

Golfing
The 18-hole golf course Golfpark Riefensberg in the Bregenzerwald can be reached from Alberschwende in 20 minutes and is one of the most beautiful facilities in Austria.
It covers 57 hectares and is located at an altitude of 650 m, surrounded by clear forests and lush green meadows.
