Directly from the Hotel Engel in Alberschwende you can go on several hikes during your holidays, e.g. on the Brüggelekopf, the local mountain of the village. With the hiking bus you can quickly reach countless hiking routes in the Bregenzerwald and in Dornbirn.

Bregenzerwald Cheese Road

Go on a culinary journey of discovery along the cheese road in the Bregenzerwald. Try cheese from local dairy shops or find out about the history of cheese in the Bregenzerwald at the Alpsennereimuseum.

The 18-hole golf course Golfpark Riefensberg in the Bregenzerwald can be reached from Alberschwende in 20 minutes and is one of the most beautiful facilities in Austria.

It covers 57 hectares and is located at an altitude of 650 m, surrounded by clear forests and lush green meadows.

Bregenz Festival

From July 22 to The opera Rigoletto by Guiseppe Verdi will be performed on the Seebühne in Bregenz on 23 August 2020.

Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg

The Schubertiade will take place from 20 to 28 June and 2-30 August in Schwarzenberg in the Bregenzerwald. The world-class song singing and chamber music is a guest in the Schwarzenberg Angelika-Kaufmann-Saal.
